Previously known as Do I dare/Disturb the universe?, this blog launched in 2003 as an experiment in writing publicly.

Since then it has morphed and matured from an online placeholder of random photographs and favorite quotations to a public place to share my thoughts as a writer.

Some of its first designs featured flowers, pastels, and song lyrics by Brenda Weiler. (Can you imagine? So gross.)

Born and bred in the urban donut hole of Omaha, Nebraska, my perspective is anything but corn fields and cows. I am slowly learning to cook, don’t do yard work, have an unhealthy preoccupation with paper, and am often mistaken for a Hipster.

But above all else, I’m a writer.

(And yes, I have an Apple tattoo.)
