A California Teaser Photo
Taken in Long Beach, Calif., Thursday evening before a massive meal at The Yard House, complete with way too much alcohol.
Creepy
This story is from where I work out on a regular basis. It’s odd a stranger made his way into the locker room, when only secure doors allow access to the facility.
Martinis are Delicious
Good morning from a cool and crisp California. Our first day in Orange County was absolutely lovely. It included stops at IKEA and Henry’s Marketplace. We dined at this fabulous restaurant in Long Beach called The Yard House. The food and drinks were out-of-this-world delicious. (I got tipsy on a strawberry martini. Yum!) We ended the evening with a walk around downtown Long Beach and the boat docks.
Today, it’s tours of the ABC studios, time spent in Hollywood and the King Tut exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Bring on the day, buddy!
Two Hours To Go…
…Until Apple announces its new product. Rumor has it that Apple will unveil a video iPod.
And speaking of the California-based company, Matthew and I leave tomorrow for four, sun-filled and fun-filled days in California, visiting my sister. She lives in Fullerton and it will be go-go-go the whole time we’re there. Hopefully it will include a stop at an Apple Store, as well. Disneyland is Saturday! I can’t wait.
Until then, I have to get through a few projects at work and a dental appointment. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for no cavities. I have a sweet tooth like no other.
Could It Be?
A Video iPod?

Rage Wins
Sunday afternoon, Matthew and I played back-to-back games of Scrabble. I won Game 1; he won Game 2.
We each scored the most points, respectively, during Game 1. The first word was queen; the final word: rage.
Final scores from Game 1: Matthew, 224; me, 307.
A snapshot at the end of Game 1. And what an impressive game it was.

“It makes sense for Google,” said Chris Winfield, who runs a search engine marketing firm, 10e20. “They say their mission is to organize the world’s information, so the logical next step is to provide the access to it.”
