journalism interns wanted

The Bellevue Leader and Papillion Times newspapers seek a handful of interns for the spring 2005 semester.

Candidates must possess strong writing skills, an attention to detail and extensive knowledge of AP Style. Candidates must also be able to work in a deadline-driven environment in either the Bellevue office (604 Fort Crook Road N.) or the Papillion office (84th Street and Nebraska Highway 370).

The internship includes, but is not limited to, writing news and features articles, as well as composing items for various calendars published in the newspapers. There are opportunities to take photos for the newspapers, as well.

This is an unpaid internship with a minimum requirement of 15 hours per week.

    Oh, honey, you need to be more specific. Much of Nebraska is vast areas of nothingness (unless that’s your thing, then it’s good). Go for Omaha!
