FINALLY! A layout that I’m infatuated with, at least for the time being.
What do you think?
Tomorrow is Bright Eyes! Tomorrow is Bright Eyes! Tomorrow is Bright Eyes!
p.s. I love my iPod. I finally found him a name: The Music Man :-)

I was driving on the interstate last week and saw a bumper sticker that read, “I read your email.”
I like that.
It’s made by Timbuk2, a San Francisco-based company that makes kick-ass bags. I have their laptop bag for my PowerBook. This one is smaller, kind of like a “purse” or “fashionable handbag.” I want it.
Monday nights suck, because I typically have to choose between eating and sleeping. I’m usually pretty tired after production day at the Leader. When I arrive home, and it’s nearing 9 p.m., I have to decide: Do I want to eat (because I’m hungry) or sleep (because I’m tired)? Thankfully, I was able to pick both last night. I made a box of macaroni and cheese before bed. It was tasty. Yum.

I really need to shovel my front porch, front sidewalk and driveway today. We’re supposed to near 40 degrees today, so I really have no excuse not to clear away the remaining snow. Wait, I have an excuse: I’m lazy.

I’m still not nearly as enamored with grad school this semester. The more I talk with other grad students who’ve been in the program for more than a semester, the more I get the “hang in there” attitude. I plan to do just that.

I need, no, want, a new pair of jeans. That’s on the to-do list for this week. As is finding hot pink, orange or bright yellow tights to wear with my mini jean skirt. (Call me vain, if you will, but I’m weak when it comes to couture.)

Thursday night I’m seeing Bright Eyes. It should be an amazing musical experience. More later.

I finished reading “The Da Vinci Code” this weekend. Good book. I give it a B+, only because it ended much too quickly. Now, it’s on to “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky.
“Awww.”
Here’s an honest-to-goodness love story, written by Yours Truly in the Feb. 11 issue of the Bellevue Leader:
Happy birthday, Conor Oberst. You’ve done this shitty little city SO damn proud.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
