This hilarious YouTube video should clear things up, right?

Fact: I work for a telecommunications provider, yet my TV at home hasn’t been turned on for days.
Better yet, I have several weeks’ worth of recorded programming on my DVR that has yet to be viewed.
I have, however, whored out my high-speed Internet network like no other this weekend.
Does that count for anything?

Following my sugar-induced coma on Halloween (and on Wednesday, Thursday and, now, today), I have determined that Now and Laters are Treats of the Devil.
They literally make my teeth ache because of (1) the amount of sugar; and (2) the literal hardness of the candy.
Don’t even think of biting into a Now and Later too soon. You’ll regret it now … and later.

While driving through Omaha’s midtown area earlier this week, I discovered a most cerebral and respectful bumper sticker on a shiny, black SUV:
“My other ride is your mom.”
Lovely sentiment, isn’t it?

Happy Halloween to you!

The talented Chris Machian paid me a visit earlier today to take a few photos of me in my back yard.
This photo will be used on the contributors page of the New York City-based bridal magazine I write for.
Which one do you like best?

The bridal magazine I write for has requested I submit a bio and headshot for its contributors page, as I have an article in the December issue.
Anyone care to have some fun and draft my profile? The funnier and less true, the better ;-)

I just walked in the door from work and am contemplating whether I should walk the two blocks from my house to Austins Steakhouse for dinner.
The other options are to eat leftover tuna noodle casserole, bake a chicken pot pie or a frozen cheese pizza.
But I can always smell Austins from my driveway, and the scent is especially strong and tempting on cold evenings (such as tonight).
What’s a girl to do?
Update @ 8:57 p.m.: I did, in fact, walk to Austins tonight for dinner. My meal: generous dinner salad, 8 oz. whiskey sirloin with A1 steak sauce, baked potato and biscuits with honey butter. My meal was divine and I am stuffed.
