a delicious dinner!
Matthew and I celebrated my new job with a lovely dinner at Omaha’s V. Mertz Wednesday evening. I had stuffed salmon; he had duck. There was a bit of booze and a delicious three-layer mousse for dessert.
A few photos, thanks to our waiter (whose name I can’t recall):
spring has sprung
I found this flower growing in the flower beds in my back yard. Anyone know what type of flower it is? And why it’s growing when it’s still winter?

no web site, no more
How glorious it has been to not spend so much time looking for and thinking about a new job. It became a ritual, really: combing countless employment Web sites, not to mention the Sunday World-Herald.
Every single day.
But not anymore.
Woo hoo!
i love steak
It was so lovely last night that Matthew and I grilled steaks for dinner. Delicious. Tasty. Tender. Juicy. Full of flavor.

Today’s run (non-stop): 37 minutes! I feel fantastic this morning.
And we’re grilling steaks for dinner tonight. Yum :-)
P.S. Just three days remain at Nu-Trend. Yippee!
hooray for me!
For the first time in a long time, I ran without stopping for 32 minutes this morning. Hooray!
