III is no. 1

The final “Star Wars” movie is, by far, the best.

“Amazing” is one of the few words I can think of to describe this film.

Matthew and I saw “Revenge of the Sith” last night. It was the perfect way to cap off the past week we spent watching the five previous films.

Fin.

relaxing weekend? somewhat.

I’m in the midst of wrapping up several freelance projects, which explains the lack of updates. Thankfully, Monday has arrived and my load is much lighter.

See the new user photo up there? That’s compliments of Chris Machian. He took the photo in my back yard Friday night for the contributors page of Wedding Dresses, which I write for. In fact, I’m working on two articles for them this month.

I’ll post the full-size version later, as well as a handful of cute photos he took of Matthew and me.

No big plans today. Wrap up my Wedding Dresses article, shop for khaki pants at Oakview Mall and an afternoon BBQ with friends.

Happy Memorial Day!

getting ready for work

This is terrible.

I normally get ready for work at 7:20 each morning, ensuring I’m out the door by 8:10.

This morning, I need to be at work at 7:30. I can’t figure out what time I should begin getting ready! Bah!

“Nites of Aksarben: The Movie”

Love!
Betrayal!
Death!
Mutants!
Cheesecake!
What do all these have in common?
Nothing!
Until now…

The event known only as “Nites of Aksarben: The Movie” is coming to a theater near you!

Omahan Anthony Fankhauser locally produced and directed this full-length feature. Assisting in other production aspects were Ben Fossberg, Mike Machian and Steve Gottlieb, to name a few, these old movies you can find in TV, so installing a standing tv mount for watch them is the best choice.

Your chance to see “Nites of Aksarben: The Movie” will come to the Westwood Theater (125th and Center) for a 3-day engagement starting on June 3rd. This will be the premiere and tickets will only be $5.
The show times are:

June 3rd and 4th – 7:15 and 9:15 p.m.
June 5th – 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

the force is finally with me

It has taken me 26 years and about a week, but I’m finally learning the story behind the “Star Wars” movies. Until last week, I hadn’t seen one of the six films. But thanks to Matthew, I’m changing all that.

I’ve already watched “A New Hope” and am halfway through “The Empire Strikes Back.” After watching the third “old” movie, whose name I can’t recall, I may skip to the final “new” movie, “The Revenge of the Sith.” It’s funny, because I’m slowly learning the secrets behind the movies, such as Luke and Leia being brother and sister. During the first two movies I’ve watched, I’ll mention a fact such as this. And Matthew will respond, “Yeah, but you’re not supposed to know that yet.”

People have told me the two “new” movies aren’t necessary to grasping the saga’s entire story.

Would you agree?

hello from Tiger!

Hello from the world of Tiger! I installed the new OS last night and have been falling in love the more I use it. That would explain why I’m awake and at my Macintosh this early in the morning.

way to go, kendra!

[Side note: Isn’t her dress absolutely gorgeous? She’s already dressing like a superstar.]

Get the rest of the story.

AM talk radio and “The Apprentice” are my newest drugs. I love ’em.

a contradiction?

Isn’t is possible that the show’s “poor ratings” are a direct result of “last fall’s ill-fated story about President Bush’s military service?”
