New Year’s Eve Ideas, Please

December 21, 2005

I’m toying with the idea of throwing a New Year’s Eve party. Most of the parties Matthew and I host typically feature an interactive board game for all to enjoy, but I’d like to mix things up a bit.

I have a book of questions that might be fun to bring out at the party, with questions like, “If you could only eat one type of food for 30 days, what would it be and why?”

Any other ideas for fun party games? Inquire within.

at my husband’s christmas party, they put names of famous people on our backs and we had to guess who it was by asking yes and no questions .

That’s a good one, Shannon. I’ll have to remember that.

    Apples to Apples

We’ve had a lot of fun playing the Apples to Apples board game. If you haven’t tried it, you should.

Any party game involving gambling and drinking is fun. I’m thinking new years? Rick James. Pile of Cocaine. Fourteen hookers. And five penthouse hotel rooms. And then skip out on the bill.

Though, maybe your new years plans are not quite in the same vein as mine.

Our parties might be stereotypically lame, but board games? Book of questions? Gotta make fun of you for that. :)
